Robot’s Trip to the Human’s Village
This story is about the exciting experience of two robots of same generation but different sizes -humans would call little ones and adults.
OBot and KBot robots lived in a robotic town called Autotown. They were same generation robots and had exactly same features, except for their size. They loved traveling to different places to explore any new or upcoming updates, so they could upgrade themselves to the latest versions and stay compatible with their surroundings.
Autotown was the only robotic town that had a large, dedicated colony called the Human Village. It was a place where humans could live the way they used to before the AI era - with roads, trees and all the usual amenities humans needed. It would take a whole day for robots to look around the place and five full days for a human to finish sightseeing, which explains how big the village was.
One day, OBot and KBot were walking along the metal belt to get their robotic parts recharged. Kbot noticed an interesting-looking place and asked OBot about it. For some robots, certain information or updates may take a little time to access. OBot explained that it was the Human Village, where actual humans lived, and that it was the only place in the world where humans could enjoy a normal life. KBot became excited at once - it all looked colourful, with trees, roads, humans and their beautifully built houses. KBot asked if they could visit. OBot also wanted to experience the place, so they decided to buy tickets using their robotic payment method, scanning their eyes on the advanced robot-friendly device at the counter.
Only a few robots at a time were allowed in the village at one time to avoid the risk of extremely high radiation levels that could occur if too many robots were present. The robots were also asked to switch to power-saving mode to reduce any possible risk. They were given a set of instructions to follow during their visit. At the end of the tour, special badges were awarded as an achievement, giving robots a chance to interact with humans during the future visits.
It was a completely new experience for the robots, as they only had a little information about the Human village before seeing it for themselves. OBot and KBot loved the place and learnt more about human lifestyle, their environment and their nature, which helped them understand humans even better.
The next updates for the robots included special programs based on everything they had learnt in Human Village, opening the door to many more discoveries in the future. These programs also helped the robots communicate better with humans and understand their emotions more clearly.
