I am currently working on a project, it is a web application-Mailflo. As a part of my learning journey and to track my progress, I’ve taken up Mailflo as my first full project. Through this, I aim to work on branding, design and marketing from scratch. Mailflo is a SaaS product in the making. Until now, I’ve worked on a few mock projects and some of the real ones- mostly focussing on design. But with Mailflo, it’s going to be about building a brand from the ground up and then taking it to small businesses and indies, which means I’ll also be diving into digital marketing. It is going to be something different- a new and exciting experience for me. I like to call it a fresh beginning. Since there’s so much to learn in order to master marketing skills, I’ve decided to start this personal blog to share my journey.
So far:
I love designing, so I started with a couple of logo design ideas- and finally this one felt just right like how Goldilocks felt about the porridge!

Next, I designed a hero section/landing page to highlight what Mailflo is about, so visitors can get a quick idea of the product.

A few words about AI
Before I share my next steps, I’d like to write a bit about using AI. As many of you know(and some may be already using it), I’ve been exploring AI too- but with purpose. I truly believe AI will soon become a common personal assistant on our phones. So, I thought why not use it in a functional and a meaningful way?
For the past few months, I’ve been using AI mainly for studying and learning, and it has been an amazing tool. Of course, it has a few drawbacks but used wisely, it can help many people who struggle to find the right resources. Even though AI-generated information need to be verified, it still points in the right direction. Use AI in a right way for the right purpose- do not get carried away, keep your creative thoughts alive.
I use AI purely as a guide for my learning process - to create study schedules, plan learning strategies, gather information(which I manually verify), as a guide to learn new digital tools, clarify doubts and even for troubleshooting purposes. All the content I share are created by me.
My next steps:
This week I’ll begin with one of the most basic yet important steps in marketing- competitor analysis and proceed towards creating a tagline for the product. I’ll keep you all posted.
