How I Developed an Interest in Arts and Crafts
Right from my childhood, I have always been interested in creativity — especially arts and crafts. My mum is a very creative person and that’s where I got both my interest and talent from. we used to buy simple materials and turn them into pieces of art or craftwork.
Alongside my studies, I kept the creativity alive through quick and simple DIY projects, which we either used as a home décor or gifted to our friends and family. Then came my engineering days, when the time became a constraint and my DIY projects were put on hold — until after my marriage.

As I started learning how to use digital tools for drawing, I wanted to create something meaningful that could help me in two ways - improving illustration skills and getting hands-on experience with digital design.
The illustrations might look quite simple to a trained artist, but for me, this process was a whole new experience that was never just about the drawing. It was about learning how to use the digital drawing techniques from scratch.

Project-Mailflo
I am currently working on a project, it is a web application-Mailflo. As a part of my learning journey and to track my progress, I’ve taken up Mailflo as my first full project. Through this, I aim to work on branding, design and marketing from scratch. Mailflo is a SaaS product in the making. Until now, I’ve worked on a few mock projects and some of the real ones- mostly focussing on design. But with Mailflo, it’s going to be about building a brand from the ground up and then taking it to small businesses and indies, which means I’ll also be diving into digital marketing. It is going to be something different- a new and exciting experience for me. I like to call it a fresh beginning. Since there’s so much to learn in order to master marketing skills, I’ve decided to start this personal blog to share my journey.
Digital Watercolour Illustration
In this page, I am sharing my works that demonstrates my enthusiasm for learning various digital art forms. I never restricted my thinking to keep to a single type of digital art; instead I spread my wings wide to explore how far they could carry me.
Digital art illustration of a character
This artwork is a character I designed with a story in my mind. The story is about a beautiful place called Sunflowerville. It is a fantasy world that has a huge set of rides and fairy tale like views and castles one can visit. I named this character as ‘The Sunflower Lady’ - dressed in a yellowish-orange colour dress, with a shiny princess tiara, greeting warmly the guests at the entryway. It was created in Adobe Photoshop.

I designed this engaging Infographics sheet as a guide for parents to foster their child’s creativity.
The value of device-free time:
The quantity of screen time a child receives has a direct impact on their productivity and capacity to think. While permitting as little screen time as possible, it is crucial for parents to recognize and reconsider the same. As it enhances their abilities and aids their early development, children should be encouraged to engage in more outdoor play as well as other screen-free indoor activities.
